Transfer from Chiangmai Airport to Mae
Ping Home Stay. Free at leisure or you can also take a walk
to rice fields nearby, offering exhilarating view of the countryside
or visiting neighborhood area to see the differences of local
lifestyles. Observe daily life and behaviors of the villagers
also have a look of the various housing styles in the neighborhood
area. |

Visit the wooden area in the north
of the City to see elephants at work at Mae Sa Elephant Camp.
See the demonstration of elephants at work. Watching the elephants
taking their morning bath in the running streams before starting
their daily training and working. After that, depart to Queen
Sirikit Botanical Garden, which was established in 1992
in order to gather, conserve and strengthen studies and research
on Thai plants and an extensive library in the main building.
More than 700 species of plants with the emphasis on Thai flora
have been collected in the glasshouses. Then continue to visit
large Orchid Nursery. |

Visit Sankampaeng district for
both shopping and sightseeing. There are a range to shops such
as Thai Silk and cotton looms, Bo-Sang village where
the paper and umbrella are made, the Celadon kilns, with its
exquisite, traditional high fired stoneware, lacquer ware, teakwood
carving, jewelry, and silverware factories. You will experience
the way craftsmen producing their crafts by hand from the beginning
till the end. You can also purchase their products as souvenirs
from Chiangmai. |

Dinner) with folk dances and a hilltribe show. |
